This Lent we are collaborating with Church of the Nativity’s Office of Evangelization to help you on your Lenten journey. Oftentimes we begin Lent full of energy to dedicate ourselves to God through prayer and penance. Part way through Lent, some of us lose steam and lose heart. We forget Lent is a journey and will have its ups and down. On all journeys it is good to take a break and rest along the way.

TWO EVENINGS ARE LEFT.

You do not have to have attended the first evening to get something out of the rest of our gatherings..

WE HOPE YOU FIND TIME IN YOUR SCHEDULED TO JOIN US.

We offer these three evenings as an opportunity to slow down and rest together with the mysteries held in John 11, the Death and Raising of Lazarus. These evenings are designed as a resting point on your Lenten journey, to pause and come to know Jesus a little better so that you can love him more dearly and follow him more closely as you journey to Easter.

Come and Encounter Jesus in Bethany with us this March.

Each evening will be composed of a presentation with points for prayer and an Ignatian guided prayer exercise.

Presenter - Lori Stevens
Lori received her certification in Spiritual Direction & Directed Retreats from Creighton University. She serves the Ignatian Spirituality Center as a teacher of Ignatian Spirituality, a prayer guide, and a member of the Board and program committee.

Deeper Love

Presenter - Julie Reuter
Julie is a wife, mother, grandmother, Spiritual Director, artist, creator, and “joyful spirit.” She has been involved for over 20 years in various women’s ministries. Julie is active in the Ignatian Spirituality Center as a guide and peer supervisor.

LAZARUS: UNBIND

Presenter - Mona Snider
Mona has been accompanying people in Ignatian Retreats since 2007 and serves as a mentor and instructor for prayer guides at the ISC. She's  also a trained Spiritual Director through the Creighton University Christian Spirituality Program.
