“Will you come and follow me, if I but call your name” 

An Ignatian Morning of Reflection to prepare you to more fully receive the Advent and Christmas seasons.   Joe Snyder and Lori Stevens will offer a morning of reflection, personal prayer and spiritual conversation to prepare you to experience the fullness of the Advent and Christmas seasons. 

The morning begins at 9:00 a.m. and concludes at 11:30 am. Registration includes light breakfast snacks, and coffee.

About the Facililators

Lori Stevens, M.A. Lori made the Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life in 2012 and subsequently became involved with the Ignatian Spiritual Center (ISC) of Kansas City in various capacities. She became an Ignatian Prayer Guide in 2018 accompanying individuals making the Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life as well as other shorter Ignatian retreats. Lori is the current chair of the Center’s Program Committee, serves on the ISC Board of Trustees and facilitates and teaches within the Center’s Ignatian Foundations Program. She is also a certified spiritual director and retreat leader holding an M.A. in Christian Spirituality and a graduate certificate in Spiritual Direction and Directed Retreats from Creighton University. Her prior education includes a BA in Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science from the University of Nebraska and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries. Lori is also the mother of two adult children.

Joseph (Joe) Snyder, M.Div, Ed.D Joe completed the Spiritual Exercises in a 30-day format earlier in life and completed the Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life in 2014 with the Ignatian Center. He has been actively involved with the Ignatian Spirituality Center (ISC) for several years. He served on the ISC Board of Trustees and is the past chair of the ISC Program Committee of which he is still a member. At the present time, Joe serves as a guide for people making the Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life (SEEL) and facilitates individuals and groups in Short Prayer Programs and programs about Ignatian spirituality. As part of a teaching team Joe assists with the Dynamics of the Spiritual Exercises and Discernment of Spirits courses in the Ignatian Foundations Program. His education includes an M. Div.from the Jesuit School of Theology of Santa Clara University and an Ed. D. from the University of Kansas. Joe is married to Marilyn, an accomplished poet.
