Growing in prayer is growing in a conscious relationship with God. Busyness, boredom, emptiness, and doubt can often hinder prayer and one's communication with God. St. Ignatius of Loyola, especially in The Spiritual Exercises, proposes ways to examine, deepen, and expand one's prayer. These workshops will explore prayer and Ignatian ways of growing in prayer. The workshops are aimed at assisting two groups: those desiring to grow in prayer and those seeking help in guiding others in prayer.
Two workshops will be offered, one on Saturday, October 9, 2010 and and another on Saturday, January 29, 2011. The locations for these workshops will be announced at a later date. Ordinarily the workshops are facilitated by
Fr. Vern Heinsz, S.J., and will go from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Lunch is included in the $35.00 fee; financial assistance is available.
