FORMATION EXPERIENCES

An Introduction to the Practice of Spiritual Guidance -

An Ignatian View

This program is primarily for those giving or preparing to give Spiritual Direction/Guidance and guide people in the individually-directed 19th Annotation retreat.  It will include presentations, discussions, and "practice."  It will depend on active involvement of participants in discussions, case studies, role plays, etc.

This four-session program will emphasize practical aspects for directors in directing the Spiritual Exercises.  The meetings will center on four major topics:

"What to look for in spiritual guidance and keeping the focus"          "Paying attention to key interior facts"

        "Dealing with conflicts and resistance"

"Facilitating the ongoing relationship with God"
